Alllllrighty, let's get the ball rolling. ...well, such as it is... I doubt anyone's going to actually READ what I'm writing here, but that's what all the big blogs I read say too (well, in their early posts), so who knows. Maybe I'll be the next BRK or something. (Great, just what I need - MORE stuff to do!)
Perhaps, since this is the inaugural post, I should put some actually important stuff in here, stuff people will want to read.
>_>
So.
For those lucky residents of the Bronzebeard server who have had the pleasure of running an instance with me (Ferrusmanus, that is), howdy, nice to see you again. For all other WoW players: I'd tell you to stick around, but I really don't know where I'm going with this blog yet, so you might be disappointed. It's definitely gonna be WoW-related, though. Count on it. And lastly, for you non-addicts: JOIIINNN USSSS!
Now, if I haven't scared you off, you're probably wondering why I've named this blog the way I did. Well, I must admit that I like to tank. A lot. Especially the really big pulls. I used to go to sleep with my Figurine of the Colossus under my pillow (it let me pull SM Cath all at once, back at level 70 when it was still hard). I get agitated when there's a mob running loose, even if it's already been picked up by the hunter for trapping (yes, I break CC's. Polymorphs, traps... As long as the healer can heal me through it, I'm tanking it). I hate off-tanking, since it means I get less stuff to tank. I love it when there's seven elites beating on me with axes, and I just shrug the blows off like... something you shrug off easily, I dunno. In short, I love tanking. And since masochists enjoy being beaten on, it sorta follows logically.
Well, there you have it... my first tentative foray into the wide world of blogdom. My sincere apologies for any incoherencies or confusing sentences -- my brain tends to stop working at 4 A.M. But hey, when you get the urge to blog... I dunno, I guess ya gotta blog.
Signing off for the night:
